They are known for their acting talents on the big screen.
But it looks like Jennifer Garner and Helen Hunt have also mastered the art of avoidance.
The two stars were spotted crossing paths in Los Angeles on Thursday when Jen conveniently looked at her cell phone while Helen looked down at her wristwatch.

The 42-year-old wife of Ben Affleck and the As Good As It Gets star, however, appeared to inadvertently snub each, no doubt unaware that their paths had crossed.
Helen, 51, was dressed for an active afternoon as she donned a black down jacket over a black top, black tights, and grey trainers.
She had her blonde locks tied back in a ponytail as she acccessorised the look with aviator sunglasses and a grey and burgundy scarf as she clutched on to a water bottle.

Jennifer went casual in a black sweater featuring a high slits on the sides over a white blouse, skinny blue jeans and grey suede brogues.
The 13 Going On 30 star wore her brunette tresses down and wore a pair of black designer shades over her face which had minimal make-up on it.
Later on in the day in Santa Monica she was seen walking with the same mobile in hand alongside her nine-year-old daughter Violet while on FaceTime with husband Ben.
She turned the phone to her daughter and the 42-year-old Gone Girl star's face could be seen in plain view on the iPhone screen.
The mother-of-three sipped on a large iced tea as her eldest child enjoyed a frozen yogurt during the video chat with with the actor who is out of town undoubtedly to film a movie.
The Alias star was also spotted on an outing with her five-year-old daughter Seraphina as Jen stumbled over the grass while turning a corner on the sidewalk.

No doubt spending time with her two girls comes at a good time for Jennifer as she has a few exciting projects on tap including comedy/drama Danny Collins.
The film is centered around an aging rock star who decides to change his life when he discovers a 40-year-old letter written to him by John Lennon.
Dan Fogelman both wrote and directed the film, which boasts a cast including Al Pacino, Annette Bening, Melissa Benoist, Bobby Cannavale and Josh Peck. Danny Collins is set to hit theatres on March 20.
